9/22 Seminole Express Update: Tomahawk

The City of Tallahassee has closed off Woodward Ave. from Gaines St. to St. Augustine St., as well as Madison Ave. between Woodward Ave. and Collier St. No unauthorized traffic will be allowed through. Due to the closure, the Tomahawk buses will not be able to serve the CollegeTown NB and Madison/Gay EB stops for the rest of the day.

Parking Update: Civic Center Lot

The Civic Center Lot will be closed from Monday, Sept. 18 through Monday, Sept. 25. Approximately 150 spaces will be available for law school students only on Sept. 18, 19, 20, 24 and 25 (no law school parking will be available on Sept. 21, 22 and 23).

We will be opening our new overflow lot (located immediately south of the Civic Center Lot) on Monday, Sept. 18. The new lot will hold approximately 200 vehicles.

Student Parking Update

While the campus is closed, students may park on any floor of any campus parking garage. Overnight students will not be required to park on the top floors. It is recommended that vehicles be parked below the top floor of each garage during the storm.

Normal parking operations will resume once the campus reopens.

Football Gameday Parking Update

Since the FSU vs. ULM game has been cancelled, FSU students, faculty, and staff are no longer required to move their vehicles from football parking lots/garages.

Seminole Express Update

Since campus is closed due to preparations for Hurricane Irma, the Seminole Express and Nite Nole buses will not be in operation until classes resume.
